ON 14TH MARCH 2007 NEPAL ISSUED A RUPEES 25 COIN WITHOUT THE KING’S NAME Articles / Numismatics Date: Apr 21, 2007 - 10:28 PM On 14th March 2007, Nepal issued a new commemorative coin of Rupees 25 denomination to commemorate 125 year of Postage stamp in Nepal. After political changes in Nepal this is the first coin without the name of the king. The regular obverse design has been changed. Instead of regular obverse design, there is a postal runner carrying postal bag at his back and at right hand the famous Bhala (pointed stick).
