I have often wondered why people seem to mix up the name of this coin all the time. Is it a difference in dialect or language? The Nepalese silver coin is often called "mohar" and the Indian "mohur" but it's not always like that.
Coin dealers who seem to know a lot about coins from south Asia sometimes surprise me by calling Nepalese silver coins "mohur". I suppose the question here is if it really makes a difference what the coins are called.
BTW, I will be off for a two week summer holiday in a few days so my replies may come a little slow. It depends on whether I can find an internet cafe or not
